Members of staff from Cranberry Academy Primary School where Richie Parry attended before joining Alsager School have signed a book of condolence.

It's 11 years since licensee Charlie Charlesworth took over The Mere Inn in Crewe Road and he's throwing a party to celebrate.

Young hockey players get a boost - thanks to the former Alsager Partnership
Young hockey players have been given a boost – thanks to the former Alsager Partnership.
The partnership gave Alsager-based Triton Hockey Club £1,000 before it closed last year.
And now the hockey club, who play home matches at Alsager Sports Hub, has shown former partnership chair, Arthur Harding and former treasurer, John Poulson, the equipment in action.
