Thursday, 29 January

Alsager Wellness Rooms in Crewe Road has a six-week course on an introduction to strength training.

It started last week and runs from 12.30 pm until 1.15 pm and runs for six weeks.

In this small-group setting (4-6 people), you'll learn the foundations of effective strength training, with a focus on proper technique in all the key movements.

Resistance bands, bodyweight exercises and small equipment will be used to help build full-body strength, and confidence. This class is perfect for anyone who wants build their strength in a safe supportive environment.

In the evening, The Linley Tavern has a fun evening lined up - quiz night and 'play your cards right' starting at 8 pm. All welcome!

Friday, 30 January

Looking for some reading? Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm. Plenty of books to buy, many of them brand new so you can curl up in front of the fire with a cuppa!

The Golf Club Linley has a quiz and 'play your cards right' night from 8 pm.

Saturday, 31 January

Are you into Glam Rock? Put glitter on your face, wrap a feather boa around your neck and get yourself to The Thirteen Club for a night featuring songs and music from T-Rex, Slade, David Bowie, The Sweet, Mud and more.
