A special retreat is heading to Tuscany in 2026 – and it's been thoughtfully created by two local experts with a shared passion for wellbeing, connection and meaningful travel.

Jill Amison of Blue Lotus Yoga has partnered with Sara Dickenson of Fifth Element Travel, based in Alsager, to bring a beautifully balanced retreat to life for local residents looking to slow down, recharge and experience something truly special.

Designed for solo travellers, couples or friends, the retreat offers a supportive and welcoming space where everyone can feel at home.

"This is about stepping away from busy lives and reconnecting – with yourself, with others and with a beautiful place," says Sara.

"You don't need to be a yogi, a seasoned traveller or coming with a group. You just need to want some time for yourself."

Set in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, the retreat focuses on simple pleasures: stunning scenery, nourishing food, cookery classes and a wine tour in Cinque Terre.

Most of all there is warm hospitality and time to truly unwind. Jill's yoga sessions are gently woven into the experience, but are entirely optional, making the retreat accessible to everyone – whether yoga is part of your life or something you're simply curious about.

"One of the loveliest parts of retreats like this is the sense of community that forms," adds Jill. "People arrive as individuals and quickly feel part of something supportive and inclusive.

"Many leave with new friendships as well as wonderful memories."

Jill wanted somewhere where her guests could enjoy stunning scenery and authentic food and Sara has complemented this with her signature 'feeling-first' approach, ensuring every detail has been thoughtfully handled so guests can relax and enjoy the experience without stress.

It's a collaboration rooted in shared values and a belief that travel is for everyone and should nourish, not overwhelm.

With only a few spaces now remaining, the retreat has already sparked interest locally from those looking for a different kind of escape – one that feels restorative, inspiring and deeply human.
