Thursday, 19 February

Alsager Wellness Rooms in Crewe Road has a six-week course on an introduction to strength training.

It started last week and runs from 12.30 pm until 1.15 pm and runs for six weeks.

In this small-group setting (4-6 people), you'll learn the foundations of effective strength training, with a focus on proper technique in all the key movements.

Resistance bands, bodyweight exercises and small equipment will be used to help build full-body strength, and confidence. This class is perfect for anyone who wants build their strength in a safe supportive environment.

Friday, 20 February

Fancy some music? The Thirteen Club's resident band, 'The Decades' are back. Bring your dancing shoes and plenty of energy because at their performance in January the dance floor was full from the very first song to the last one.

Saturday, 21 February

It's Round 3 of the Six Nations and several pubs will be showing it including the Linley Tavern. Catch England v Ireland and Wales v Scotland back‑to‑back this Saturday.



Sunday, 22 February

There's a quiz night at the Wilbraham Arms from 6 pm. It's held every Sunday with a selection of prizes to be won.
