Recruitment Advisor
The Opportunity
As a Recruitment Advisor for Swansway you will play a significant role in contributing to the success of the HR function. Reporting to the Head of HR, the Recruitment Advisor will be responsible for securing top talent across all of our locations. You'll own the end to end recruitment journey for our candidates from their application to their first day, ensuring only the best candidate journey.
Day to day you will work with our HR Advisors and stakeholders across the group to meet the recruitment needs of the business, including writing job adverts, completing pre-screening calls and arranging interviews all through our applicant tracking system. You may also support with face to face interviews to support and upskill our Hiring Managers.

- Taking briefs from Hiring Managers for their current vacancies
- Writing creative job adverts
- Advising and guiding candidates through the recruitment process
- Pre-screening applicants and creating a shortlist for Hiring Managers
- Negotiating job offers for candidates
- Updating and full use of our applicant tracking system
- Deal with any front line recruitment queries
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Keeping applicants updated throughout the recruitment process
- Supporting Hiring Managers with interviews (coaching and attending interviews when required)
- Recruitment projects as directed by Head of HR
- Ad-hoc recruitment activities
More about you
- Previous recruitment experience gained either in house or via agency
- Experience of working at pace in a fast moving business
- Strong written copy (such as job adverts and candidate communications)
- Able to multi-task several tasks/workloads
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong customer focus
- "Can do" attitude
- Travel required to our Dealerships from time to time (Carlisle to Birmingham)
- Full driving licence required
