Alsager Town will be targeting a much-improved performance when they travel to Cheadle Town tonight (Wednesday).

The Bullets were on the receiving end of a 7-0 hammering at West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC on Saturday.

After a quiet opening 20 minutes at Brookburn Road, the hosts burst into life and raced into a 4-0 lead at half-time.

It was a case of damage limitation for Stuart Tulloch's men in the second half, but the home side managed to score three more and turn a difficult afternoon into a dreadful one for the visitors.

The Bullets, who have not scored in their last three games kick off at the Park Ground Stadium at 7:45pm.

However, the reserve side inflicted an emphatic 6-1 victory of their own on Cheadle Town Reserves at Wood Park on Saturday.

The Bullets' reserves side are also in action tonight (Wednesday), they welcome Silverdale Athletic to Wood Park in what is a 7:30pm kick off.
