Bullets come from behind to clinch a point against Cheadle Town

Alsager Town earned a hard-fought point in Stockport last night (Wednesday) as they drew 1-1 with Cheadle Town.

The hosts took the lead on the half hour mark from the penalty spot through Patrick Davin.

Cheadle had chances to extend their lead in the second half, but they failed to convert.

With the match at Park Road entering its final stages, the Bullets were awarded a penalty with around 15 minutes remaining.

Callum Robinson stepped up and slotted home to rescue a point for the visitors.

Stuart Tulloch's side welcome Eccleshall to Wood Park on Saturday.

The Bullets' reserves side were also in action last night and produced an emphatic 5-0 home win against Silverdale Athletic.

They next face Brereton Social on Saturday.
