A new interactive map has been released which shows the most 'Wikipedia'd' person in every town of the UK.

Created by The Pudding, the People Map of the UK shows the person whose Wikipedia page has the most views in each of the country's towns and cities.

And the map shows the most 'Wikipedia'd' person from Alsager is footballer Shaun Miller.

Born in Alsager, Miller started his career with Crewe Alexandra's youth system, and he signed a professional contract with the club in July 2006.

He made his league debut in a 1–0 loss away to Gillingham in March 2007, before marking his first professional start with a goal in a 2–1 loss away to Blackpool at the end of the month.

In the 2010/11 League Two season, Miller produced his best goalscoring campaign to date with 19 goals from 42 league matches.

The 33-year-old signed for Sheffield United in July 2012 where he went on to score 9 goals from 35 matches before joining League One outfit Shrewsbury Town on loan.

After the Blades opted against renewing his contract, Miller joined Coventry City on a one-year deal in July 2014 where he had loan spells at Crawley Town and York City.

Miller's goalscoring form returned when he joined Morecambe for the 2015/16 season. The striker finished with 16 goals before joining Carlisle United.

In January 2018, Miller re-joined Crewe Alexandra on loan for the remainder of the season where he scored six goals from 15 appearances.

His impressive loan spell saw him return to Gresty Road on a permanent basis with a two-year deal. However, in the 2018/19 season, Miller netted three times from 33 matches.

Miller returned to Morecambe, on a season-long loan deal from Crewe in July 2019 before being released by Crewe in June 2020.

In September 2020, Miller signed for newly relegated League Two side Bolton Wanderers. He scored his first goal for Bolton and his 100th career goal against his former club Crewe in the EFL Trophy.

He left The Trotters last year, and now has returned close to his roots with Nantwich Town.
