Earlier in the day, Rode Hall Farmer's Market is on from 9 am until 1.30 pm with lots of Rode produce and flowers from the kitchen garden and an array of stalls from all over the area.

The talented Johnny Gell will be playing live and the courtyard kitchen will be open serving brunches and delicious homemade cakes.

Alsager Town Football Club, aka The Bullets, are at home to Cammell Laird 1907 with a 3 pm kick-off.

Later in the day, Bank Corner has a Pride After Party from 9 pm – 2 am with DJ Mavx in the house.

Sunday, October 2nd

St Mary's Church in Alsager has a harvest festival. The church is appealing for help to support the local foodbank by dropping off bags of groceries at St. Mary's Church.

These groceries will then be used to decorate Church for our harvest service, after which they will be delivered to the foodbank ready for distribution to local families in need of some help and support.

Bags can be dropped on Saturday between 11:30 am and 2pm

In the evening, Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
