It's a busy Remembrance Day weekend ahead with lots of other things happening!

Friday, November 10th
Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Saturday, November 11th
Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.
Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets play Stockport Town FC at Stockport Sports Village.
Alsager Golf Club, Linley has Vavoom playing. £10 members £12 non members
Alsager Civic has a Poppy Day Memorial Show as featured in our 'What's On' section here with scenes from Oh What a Lovely War and joined by the Staffordshire Regiment. There will be songs from that era. Tickets £10 Children £8.50
Sunday, November 12th
It's Remembrance Day and the annual parade in Alsager as we revealed here
The Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Sandbach Road South, starts at 2.40 pm. After the ceremony, the parade will reform and march to St Mary's Church in Crewe Road for the Remembrance service starting at 3 pm.
Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.
If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
Tuesday, November 14th
The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has an autumn wine tasting hosted by Alex, from Momentum wines. Alex will be hosting a preview evening to show case eight wines from the new list, four artisan sherries paired with cheese and charcuterie and finishing with a vintage tawny port. Tickets are limited and priced at £20 per person.
