Friday, September 20th

Get your weekend off to a great start with live music at two venues in the town - both are near to each other so you could pop into both!

The Mere Inn in Crewe Road. Indie groove rock band, 'Conscious Minds' are live at 8.30 pm - an event not to be missed.

Meanwhile Bod Alsager has Sheena Shine playing live at 7.30 pm. Again well worth a visit!

Looking for a book to chill with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Saturday, September 21st

Today's the day! Alsager Pride comes to town with a parade through Alsager walking to the events and stalls at Alsager Cricket Club as we revealed in lour story here

Looking for craft items which are unusual and fun? The monthly Olive & Stitch market is on at Alsager Civic from 9.30 am until 1pm. It's free entry and well worth a visit!

Alsager library has the twice monthly Alsager Ukrainian Support Group - Conversation Cafe from 10.30 am until just after noon at the library in Sandbach Road North.

Are you a Meatloaf fan? The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue has Matt Shaw and his tribute to the music and songs of the late and much missed Meat Loaf. The last time Matt performed his tribute at The Thirteen Club was on the exact day that the death of Meat Loaf was announced. Alsager Nub News told the story here

Fans have a chance to see a tribute act perform the best of Meatloaf. Entry is by ticket only and ticket numbers are restricted. Details on the poster below:

Dementia Friendly Community Alsager is holding a concert at Alsager United Reformed Church with Sandbach Singing Sensations and The Bakerfield Duo. Tickets are £5 each and details are on the poster below.
