Thursday, 5 November

Alsager Jazz Club has Alan Barnes wit the Andrzej Baranek Trio at the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 8 pm until 10 pm. The cost if £10 on the door.

The Linley Tavern has its weekly quiz night at 8pm. £1 to play!

The Lawton Arms in Church Lawton has its Thursday poker night from 8 pm until 11 pm. All welcome!

Saturday, 7 November

Today's the day. It's Alsager Round Table's annual bonfire and firework night at The Plough Inn in Crewe Road. There will be a fairground, street food stalls, a live DJ and entertainment. Gates open at 4 pm, the fire is lit at 5 pm and the fireworks begin at 7 pm. Full story and ticket details here

All welcome at the Alsager Ladies Lifeboat Guild coffee morning in aid of the RNLI from 10 am until 12 noon.

Come along to browse our cake and gift stalls and maybe have your first mince pie of the season!

Alsager Railway Association's model railway exhibition is at Bentley Motors Crewe from 10 am until 5 pm.

Sunday, 8 November

It's Alsager's annual Remembrance Sunday at Alsager War Memorial. The parade is meeting in Asda car park between 2 pm and 2.15 pm departing at 2.30 pm. Road closures will be in place in Lawton Road, Crewe Road, Sandbach Road North and South, Ashmore's Lane, Brookhouse Road.

The parade will march to Alsager War Memorial for the Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Sandbach Road South, starting at approximately 2.40 pm. After the ceremony, the parade will reform and will march to St Mary's Church, Crewe Road, for the Remembrance Service starting at 3 pm. Full story here
