Saturday, November 8th

Alsager Animals in Need has its monthly coffee morning at Alsager Civic. This month it's a Christmas Special which takes place as usual from 9.30 am until 11.30 am with 50p entry.

We have a good range of items including clothes, books, jewellery, bric-a-brac, plants, pet items, home-made cakes, raffle/tombola and extra Christmas tables. Good chance to pick up some bargains!

Do you love art? There's an exhibition on in Alsager until 10 January which shouldn't be missed. It's on in the upstairs gallery at the Two Doors Studio in Crewe Road. The gallery is open during usual shop hours. Admission is free. Entry to the exhibition is via the Two Doors Studio front door on Crewe Road. https://www.twodoorsstudio.co.uk/

Alsager Town aka The Bullets are playing Shawbury United away with a 3 pm kick-off. Show them your support!

In the evening, Alsager Round Table has one of its biggest charity events of the year - the annual bonfire night at The Plough Inn in Crewe Road. The fairground opens at 4.30 pm, the bonfire is lit at 5 pm and the fireworks start at 6.30 pm. Full details in our story here

Sunday, November 9th

It's Alsager's Remembrance parade at the War Memorial in Sandbach Road South. Those taking part in the parade are meeting in Asda car park at 2.30 pm.

Still celebrating Guy Fawkes? The Lawton Arms in Church Lawton, which had a new landlord earlier this year, has a firework event. The pub car park will be closed for the event. Rides from 3pm and a food stall will be open from 4pm. The fireworks will now start at 7pm (please note the time change from 6pm).
