Every year, Alsager Round Table holds several fundraising events to enable it to stage the various community events in the town.
Their charity annual bonfire event is one of them and preparations are well underway for this year's bonfire which takes place on Saturday, 8 November.

Hundreds of people attend the event at The Lough in Crewe Road Alsager and tickets for this year's event have gone on sale.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, children under 16 £7 and families (two adults and two children) £30 plus a booking fee and are available from here

As previously, there will be a fairground and food will be open from 4.30 pm with the bonfire being lit at 5 pm and the fireworks at 6.30 pm. There's also entertainment with music.
Daz Antrobus, chair of Alsager Round Table said: "It's an event which local families love and we're looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible to this year's event.
"It was such a success last year and we're hoping it will be bigger and better than ever this year. It's the only professional firework event in the town and it's much safer to come to an organised firework display.

"All money goes back into the local community, helping individuals, schools and organisations and also helping to fund other events like the Christmas light switch-on and carnival."
