Here are our top event picks for the coming days:
Friday, August 1st
Looking to soak up some local art at an exhibition right here in Alsager? Two Doors Studio in Alsager is hosting an exhibition of landscape paintings - 'A Rich Earth' by Ian Pearsall.
After travelling in his early years, Ian has settled in the Maer Hills near Newcastle-under-Lyme and draws his inspiration from the mysteries of the wooded areas that surround him. The exhibition is featured in our What's On section here and runs until mid-September. Don't miss it !

Fancy a book to curl up in the garden with and read this weekend? Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm. Plenty of books to buy, many of them brand new!

The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has Danny Brad playing at 8.30 pm. Don't miss it!

Saturday, August 2nd
It's Pride in Alsager and there's lots happening as always. A colourful flash mob parade will walk through the streets starting at 11.30 am to Alsager Civic with a 12 noon start for the day event at Alsager Civic.
It's a change of venue this year to Alsager Civic and Alsager town centre. In the past, the parade has walked to Alsager Cricket Club but this year it's staying in the town centre.
There will be stalls from businesses and organisations as well as a bar and for the first time, there is a dog competition, 'Pooches with Pride' - a chance for your four-legged friends to take centre stage.
There is also a Pride After party with 'Pride at Night at Alsager Civic with tickets costing £9.38 with perfromances from local drag queen legends Fonda Dixx and Stella Black plus a live DJ.
'Pride at Night' starts at 7.30 pm and there will be performancs from local drag queen legends Fonda Dixx and Stella Black plus a live DJ. Tickets can be bought here

Sunday, August 3rd
