Plans finally submitted for the Bank Corner building to be turned into retail units and flats

The Bank Corner building in Alsager has been empty for more than two years after the pub suddently closed but now looks like it's all about to change.
Vaughan Architecture has submitted plans to Cheshire East Council to turn the iconic building in Lawton Road into two retail units and a pharmacy on the ground floor and four apartments on the first floor.

Local resident James Orpington and his son Adam said: "It's great to see that building will come back in to use as it's become an eyesore for be honest."

Residents have until Septmber 17th to comment on the plan which can be viewed here
Alsager Nub News revealed earlier this year here how the building was "under offer".
