Alsager residents are eagerly awaiting to see what happens to a landmark building which has been empty for more than five months.

The former Bank Corner building in Lawton Road closed in March and then a sign appeared saying it was becoming a children's nursery.

That plan fell through as we revealed here  and the building, once a pub and entertainment venue, went back on the market.

We revealed here that a spokesperson for letting company, Sandyford Properties, said the premises is "currently under offer".

"It's too early to give any more details as it's still going through solicitors," Sandyford Properties said last month (August).

We're asking readers what they would like to see here. What would YOU like the building to become? What's missing in the town, what does Alsager need?

Send your replies to [email protected] We look forward to receiving them!
