High-end Alsager restaurant hit with planning issue gets ready for a re-launch
A high-end restaurant in Alsager is temporarily closed while remedial work is carried out to a veranda which was refused retrospective planning permission.
The Vault, built in the former Barclay's Bank in Crewe Road, which opened its doors in October, has announced when it is reopening after it temporarily closed and says there will be a new head chef and new menus.
We told here https://alsager.nub.news/news/local-news/cheshire-easts-enforcement-team-look-at-next-course-of-action-for-the-vault-161668 how retrospective planning permission for the veranda was turned down.

A spokesperson from The Vault said: "We are working close with the council on our project. We don't have any comments currently."
It said on Social Media: "Change is coming. We will be back. The Vault will be temporarily closed while we plan our re-launch.
"We will be back open from 20th of April with a new head chef and new menus. All can be found online, bookings are now open."

A Cheshire East Council spokesperson said: "The owner has communicated to the council his intention to carry out remedial works in order to comply with the development for which planning permission was obtained.
"The owner has until 2 July 2023 to complete these works."
The Vault promised to "unlock a new cocktail experience with top-of-the-range mixology, delivering contemporary international cuisine, fusing traditional flavour with modern cooking methods and techniques".
Alsager Nub News wishes The Vault all the best with the re-launch.
