Firefighters called after flames seen coming from vehicle transporter near Alsager

One fire engine from Alsager and the town's Rapid Response Rescue Unit plus a fire engine from Crewe went to a fire in a vehicle tansporter.
Firefighters were called to the incident in Radway Green Road, Bartholmley at 7.05 pm last night (Wednesday).
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Crews were called to an incident involving a vehicle transporter, where flames were seen coming from a wheel on the trailer.
"Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera and a hose reel jet to cool the rear axle."
