Alsager Town Council is making this Remembrance weekend one to remember!

A display of fifty ceramic poppies has been put on the Green in front of Alsager Civic ahead of this year's Remembrance commemorations.

A town council spokesperson said: "The striking display serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifice made by members of the Armed Forces and all those affected by conflict.

"The poppies will remain in place throughout the Remembrance period, providing a focal point for reflection and remembrance within our town.

"As we approach Remembrance Sunday, we invite residents and visitors to take a moment to pause, reflect and remember those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today. Lest We Forget."
