The Alsager branch of the Royal British Legion has announced arrangements for this weekend's Remembrance Day parade.

The parade is forming on the Alsager Civic Centre car park at 2.10pm where the RBL stewards will line up the parade in the usual order.

The Parade will move off at 2.30pm and there will be a wreath laying ceremony and Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial in Sandbach Road South, starting at approximately 2.40pm.

A spokesperson said: "As in previous years, the youth groups will be drawn up immediately in front of the Memorial, leaving spaces for those laying wreaths to pass through.

"It would most helpful if those carrying wreaths would position themselves in front of their organisation at the War Memorial.

"After the ceremony, the parade will reform and march to St Mary's Church, Crewe Road, for the Remembrance Service, starting at 3pm."
