Beloved Alsager farm shop finally closes its doors forever

A farm shop in Alsager which has been in the town for two decades ihas finally closed its doors for good.
Hall Farm Shop in Crewe Road, Alsager closed on Saturday (30th August) following 18 years in business but the popular cafe on the same site will remain open.
Alsager Nub News told in June here how the owners had announced they were closing in two months time.
The owners said on their Social Media page: "Well that's it folks, closed for good. Just wanted to say thank you to all our wonderful customers over the years and for all the cards, gifts, flowersand good wishes we've had in the last few weeks.
"Also a massive thank you to all our wonderful staff - we couldn't have done it without you! Just a little shout out to Jane and team at the Courtyard Cafe, who will be open again tomorrow for delicious breakfasts, cakes, coffee etc - please continue to support ! Thank you again, Stuart and Karen."
They said previously the decision was due to their "advancing years" and also Stuart's health issues which were making managing the workload increasingly difficult.

"Both of us have loved running the business over the last 18 years. It has been an honour to serve all our customers and be part of the wonderful Alsager community," they said previously.
The Courtyard cafe will remain open.
