Alsager Town Council has a new mayor and deputy mayor.

Councillor Pauline Hubbard is Town Mayor and Councillor Chris Venables is Deputy Mayor.

Cllr Hubbard has lived in Alsager for many years and has experience in local government, initially with the former Cheshire County Council, before taking a major role in adult social care.

Cllr Hubbard, who was previously deputy mayor, has taken over from outgoing mayor, Cllr Michael Unett.
