The Lawton Arms in Church Lawton has a new children's play area featuring climbing equipment and easy-to-access steps.

Bubbly Richia O'Neill, a mum-of-two, took over the pub in Liverpool Road West last summer as we revealed here.

Since then, the licensee has made numerous changes and recently added an new outdoor play area.

Customer, Kenny Thompson, has heaped praise on the move.

He said: "They have installed new fencing as well. My son is autistic and the play area is great for him as it has easy access steps."
