It's Mother's Day weekend and there's lots going on in Alsager – a weekly boot camp, a quiz, Motown and soul night and live music.

here.and press the black 'Nub It' button to get started. Here are our top event picks for the coming days: Friday March 25th You've heard of boot camps for adults well now there's one for puppies! Wilderness Walks have a puppy and beginner boot camp at Scholar Green village hall at 6.30 pm. Learn basic obedience and lead work over a six week course. It is open to all breeds and ages. At Alsager Cricket Club, there's a night with a difference. The club is holding a fundraising quiz night, £2 person entry with a complimentary snack at half-time. There will be a raffle on the night. Please take cash for entry to quiz and to buy raffle tickets. At the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue there's a Motown and Soul night starting at 7pm. Saturday March 26th Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors. The Whirligig Wild Boot camp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group. The boot camp was featured recently by Alsager Nub News here. Alsager Town Football Club is away to West Didsbury and Chorlton. Kick-off is 3pm. Sunday March 27th At Christ Church in Church Road, Alsager, there's a reflective service with hymns at 9 am for an hour. Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm. If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere. At The Bank Corner, there's an evening of live entertainment by Ben Maitland at 6pm.
