Twyford House Care Home, in Alsager, has been recognised as a finalist in the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards 2022.

The Pinders Healthcare Design Awards are nationally accredited annual awards, offering care facilities the opportunity to gain acknowledgement for more than just the incredible care that they provide.

Twyford House has been awarded as a runner-up in the Best Regeneration Project category, which celebrates homes that have been lovingly restored from historical buildings to modern care facilities.

Part of the Lovett Care Group, Twyford House is a modern, spacious, and inviting care home offering exceptional residential, dementia, respite, and day care.

Visitors to the luxury care home on Richard Woodcock Way might be surprised that the building once housed the offices of ceramics company, and Twyford House's namesake, Twyford Bathrooms.

Thanks to the fantastic work of Condy Lofthouse Architects and builders from Seddon Construction, this office building was transformed into the beautiful care facility that now stands in its place.

The Pinders' award ceremony took place on March 16th and represented a huge achievement for everyone involved in the Twyford House regeneration project.

Debbie Baker, Operations Director at Lovett Care, said: "It's such an honour to see Twyford

House recognised by the Pinders Healthcare Design Awards, this is such an accolade for everyone involved in the regeneration of Twyford House, and we wish them a huge congratulations. Debbie added: "At Lovett Care we are so proud to have contributed to the regeneration of an Alsager landmark, and we hope that Twyford House remains a significant part of the Alsager community for a long time to come." As finalists, Twyford House have been presented with £500 by Pinders, to donate to a charity of their choice. Twyford House have chosen Alzheimer's Society to receive this donation.
