A weather warning has been issued for Alsager and many other parts of the country with "very strong winds" expected.
The warning comes as Storm Eunice is expected to hit the country on Friday, with the Met Office saying: "Storm Eunice is likely to affect the UK on Friday bringing a period of very strong winds that could cause significant disruption."

Roses are red, violets are blue and love was certainly in the air on Valentine's Day at an Alsager person-centred home for adults.
Twyford House in Alsager celebrated the big day in style by displaying roses galore around the Richard Woodcock Way home.

A stricken swan on a lake near Alsager was saved from being swept down a culvert – thanks to officers from Cheshire Fire and Rescue's water team.
And the RSPCA also stepped in to help guide the worn out swan to calmer waters and place him on to a nearby pond.

Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School is being given 'wraparound' support to help pupils and staff come to terms with the tragic death of student Imogen Tothill, Cheshire East has said.
The body of the much loved and respected 17-year-old student was discovered in woodland last week as reported in our sister site, Sandbach Nub News here.

Council tax payers in Cheshire East look set for a 2.99 per cent hike from April adding £47.21 a year to a bill for a Band D property.
Members of the corporate policy committee agreed last week to recommend that full council approves the increase as part of its budget for 2022/3.
Cheshire Constabulary is asking for the public's feedback on plans to have helpdesks at five police stations across the county.
Currently there are 16 helpdesks which have varying opening hours over five to seven days a week, but many are seldom used.
