More volunteers are "urgently needed" at Alsager Scout section nights

We are extremely fortunate to have such a thriving, active and popular scout group here in Alsager.

It must be recognised that this is wholly down to all the leaders and helpers who volunteer and give their time each week or when time permits.

However, as interest in our scout group continues to grow at a rapid rate, then sadly so do our waiting lists for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

If we are going to continue to offer scouting on such a large scale in Alsager, then we must recruit more adults in to scouting.

We would like each section to have a small team of adults that can help, support, run, organise and plan weekly meetings.

The bigger the number of adults in the team for each night, the more flexible the team can be and the more leaders we have, the more flexibility we have on a leader's attendance.

- Have you ever considered helping at any of our section nights?

- Would you like to help on your child's section night?

- Perhaps you would like to help on a different night to your child?

- Can you commit to giving us two hours a week, once a fortnight, an evening a month or whatever availability you can offer within today's busy lifestyle would be greatly appreciated.

- Perhaps you can even share a role with a partner or a friend?

- Simply let us know your availability and how you would like to help, and we will match this to a role within our group.

- We are flexible to fit with whatever commitment you can offer.

If you would like a chat, without any obligation, about any scouting role and what it involves we would be very pleased to hear from you.
