Alsager Town built on their midweek point on the road at Cheadle Town with a thumping 4-0 win over Eccleshall at Wood Park.

Stuart Tulloch's side began Saturday's game on the front foot, and could have taken the lead within the first couple of minutes, before going on to create numerous chances.

The Bullets eventually took the lead in the 25th minute when skipper Ryan Hibbert netted from the penalty spot after George Archer was hauled down.

The home side continued to dominate, but could not find a second goal in the first half.

The second period was different, and the Bullets added three goals, thanks to George Archer, Kallum Boyle, and Will Aldred, while Peter Heler rattled the bar, and Tom Rutter went close.

The Bullets' reserves side came away from a trip to Brereton Social with all three points in a 1-0 win, Joel Jones getting the winner.

The U15s side won their seventh straight league game in the Junior Premier League North West League, beating Britannia Juniors 6-2, but the U18s were beaten 2-0 by Skelmersdale United at Wood Park on Sunday.

Following today's (Tuesday) Government announcement that all adult and children's grassroots football is to be suspended in England, the earliest the Bullets look set to return to action is Saturday 5 December.

Restrictions will run from Thursday, 5 November until Wednesday, 2 December.

Tonight's (Tuesday) home clash against Cammell Laird 1907 has been postponed.

No men's teams in leagues below National Leagues North or South will be able to train or play and women's competitions below the second-tier Championship are also suspended.
