Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

Alsager Golf Club, Linley has an 80s fancy dress night from 7.30 pm. Entrance costs £3.

Saturday, September 23rd 

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

It's Pride in Alsager with the parade starting at 11.30 a from Church Road opposite The Lodge, at 11.30 am walking down to Alsager Cricket Club where there is a line-up of music and stalls. Alsager Nub News told here how former X Factor contestant who has sung with Robbie Williams, Andy Hofton, will open the entertainment. Many shops in the town have decorated their front windows in pride colours.

Alsager Ukrainian Support Group has a 'conversation cafe' at Alsager library in Sandbach Road Road from 10.30 am until noon. Tea and biscuits are available. The event is held ever two weeks.

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are at home to Lichfield City with a 3 pm kick-off.

At the Linley Tavern, there's a night of soul and motown from 8.30 pm.

Sunday, September 24th   

Alsager Civic has a wedding open day from 1 pm until 4 pm. Everything from photography to entertainment and catering will be covered.

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm.

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere – check this is still on this weekend.
