It's a Bank Holiday weekend and there's lots happening – a bath sound event, Rode Hall's Bluebell Walks and live music galore.

Friday, April 28th  

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road?

It's open from 10 am until 2 pm on Fridays and also on Saturdays the same time.

Saturday, April 29th

Fancy a good book to curl up with? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

Rode Hall's Bluebell Walks start on (Saturday 29th April) and run until 7th May 10-4pm (closed only 2 May). The house is also open for guided tours on Monday 1 May and  & Wednesday 3 May.

Lawton Memorial Hall has a 70s & 80s dance party featuring classic music from that magical disco era, from  7.30pm until 11.30 pm. D J Rowan Hawley will be  spinning the discs to get the dance floor grooving! Tickets are £14.75 which includes a buffet supper and can be booked via 07432 739313 or email [email protected]

The Linley Tavern in Talke Road has Circa '81, the sound of the 80s and 90s starting at 9 pm.  

Sunday, April 30th  

Fancy a bargain? The Plough Inn has it car boot sale raising money for Macmillan. It takes place from  9am until 12 noon. Tea, coffee and sausage and bacon baps are a £1 each. All proceeds will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support. For enquiries about taking part  call 01270 882085 or email [email protected].

Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm. 

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Mere Inn has Malpractice from 8 pm until 10 pm. A night of 70's acoustic r&b, acoustic rock and roll and acoustic blues.
