Friday, February 2nd

Looking for a book to chill with after during these cold days? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Here's a story about it here It's open from 10 am until 2 pm.

The Mere Inn has live music with Jon Stevens from 8:30 pm until 10:30pm.

At Alsager Golf Club, Linley, Andy Marlow is performing live. Tickets are £5

Saturday, February 3rd

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

It's the first Rode Hall Farmers Market of the year - the 'Snowdrop Market'. It's on from 9 am until 1.30 pm. There will be a large selection of artisan food and crafts in the barns and the outdoor courtyard plus live music from Dan Toft.

The courtyard kitchen will also be open selling homemade soups, cakes and lunches. The Snowdrop Walk will also be open from 10 am - 4pm. Rode Hall is at Scholar Green.

Alsager Town Football Club Club are at away to Abbey Hey with a 3 pm kick-off.

Sunday, February 4th

Today's the day! It's Alsager 5 road race, the first big event of the year for local runners. The Alsager 5 mile race started in 1985 and was called the Butters 5 but is now called Alsager 5. Always held on the first Sunday in February, the race starts at 11 am and several roads are closed from 10.50 am until around 12.15 pm when the race finishes. Monday, February 5th

Fancy getting fit as well as meeting new friends? Dance teacher, Mark Farrugia is at Alsager Civic with his Strictly Dance Fit classes from 6 pm until 7 pm. Here's a story we wrote about him here
