It's the first weekend of the month and there's lots happening - a farmer's market, football and live music.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days: 

Saturday, September 3rd  

It's Rode Hall September Farmer's Market in Scholar Green. The fun starts at 9am and goes on util 1.30 pm. There will be around 60 stall holders from Cheshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire.

The dairy barn will be full of amazing artisans and the Courtyard Kitchen will be selling breakfasts, brunches and delicious homemade cakes.

Alsager Town Football Club, aka The Bullets, are at home to Abbey Hulton United. Kick-off is 3pm.

Thirteen Club, Cedar Avenue has Jason Dale with the King and Cash Show – an Elvis and Johnny Cash tribute night.

At The Railway pub in Audley Road, Andy Harrison is live.

Sunday, September 4th   

Alsager Urban Wildlife Initiative has a gentle wildlife walk at 3pm in the rose garden, Milton Park. All welcome and it's suitable for all.

 Alsager Bridge Club meet at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm. 

 If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
