Here are our top event picks for the coming days: 

Friday, October 7th

Cheshire East Council's health and wellbeing bus is in the car park in Lawton Road from 10 am until 3 pm offering well-being checks covering a host of things from diabetes to mental health and diet and healthy living. No appointment necessary - just pop in. 

The Civic Comedy Club is on from 6.30pm until 11.30 pm with the superb Raymond Mearns combining razor sharp observations with blinding improvisation and audience interaction.

At the Mere Inn, there is house music and chill vibes from 5pm until 10 pm.  

Saturday, October 8th 

Alsager Animals in Need has a coffee morning at Alsager Civic from 9.30 am until 11.30 am. Fancy meeting new friends and doing something to help the local community? Alsager Clean Team have a litter pick from 10 am until 11.30 am. Area to be covered includes Cedar Avenue, Station Road and Ashmores Lane. Refreshments will be provided afterwards.

Naomi Bakes has a pop-up cafe at Two Doors Studio in Crewe Road from 11am-3pm. All food vegetarian with some vegan options. Freshly prepared Middle Eastern inspired food - quiche, salads and cakes.

At The Railway Inn in Audley Road, Craig Thomas is appearing.  

At the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, there's a Buddy Holly tribute. 

Sunday, October 9th   

In the evening, Alsager Bridge Club will be meeting at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue from 6.30 pm until 10 pm. 

If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
