Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

Saturday 16th October

Olive & Stitch Market

There's a chance to find an unusual and unique products at this monthly artisan market.

It features handmade products and giftware and supports Fairtrade. It takes place between 9.30 am and 1pm at Alsager Civic.

Soul Night

Fancy listening to some soul hits from yesteryear? Alsager Social Club has a soul night starting at 7.30pm for you to dance the night away. Tickets cost £5

The Ultimate Tribute to Buddy Holly

Fans of the late great American singer/songwriter who tragically died in a plane crash in 1959 aged just 22 can relive his music at this event at the Thirteen Club Alsager.

Running from 7pm until midnight, Holly stars are set to relive the likes of "Peggy Sue" and "That'll Be the Day."

Tickets cost £8 for club members or £10 for guests and can be bought in person at the Thirteen Club or by emailing [email protected]

Sunday 17th October

Do you play bridge? Alsager Bridge is meeting on Sunday at the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue 6.30pm – 10pm.

The club has more than 100 members and extends a welcome to those who like to play bridge and meet new friends
