It's a fun weekend in Alsager with a boot camp for both dogs and adults, a tribute act, live football and live music.

Wilderness Walks have a puppy and beginner bootcamp at Scholar Green village hall at 6.30pm Learn basic obedience and lead work over a six week course. It is open to all breeds and ages. The Bank Corner in Alsager has the first of its tribute nights with award-winning Lee Grindley as Elvis. Tickets cost £5 or £10 for food as well including a traditional American meal of hot dogs and burgers with fries and potato waffles Saturday March 5th Feeling a bit jaded and wanting to get fit? Wild Bootcamp in The Woods is a great way to get moving in the outdoors. The Whirligig Wild Bootcamp takes in School Wood, Scholar Green is a circuit-style fitness group for those who want to exercise in fresh air with a friendly group. The boot camp was featured recently by Alsager Nub News here. Spring is in the air at Rode Hall at Scholar's Green near Alsager where a Farmer's Market takes place between 9 am and 1.30 pm The Courtyard kitchen will be open serving homemade cakes, soups, sausage and bacon baps, tea and coffee plus dozens of stalls Meawhile Alsager Town FC (The Bullets) face Abbey Hey at home with their new first team management. Kick off is 3pm. Sunday March 6th The Bank Corner is showing the Manchester Derby live 4.30pm followed by the sounds of Grace and Lestyn. Meanwhile Alsager Bridge Club is at The Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue, meeting from 6.30pm until 10pm. If you play bridge, this is a chance to try out your skills and meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
