Villagers shopping at a local shop in Rode Heath and posting a letter in the letterbox are greeted by a colourful site.

The post box outside Rode Heath Village Store in Sandbach Road has been decorated for Remembrance Sunday.

A knitted soldier's helmet complete with a white poppy and a red poppy and a beautiful display of hanging poppies has been put on to the letterbox.
