Two small cannabis plants seized from Alsager property

Two small cannabis plants were seized from an Alsager property and a 54-year-old woman will be questioned by police officers.

At around 9:15am today (9 October) offices attended an address in Grove Court, Alsager, following reports of a strong smell of cannabis in the area.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "Two small cannabis plants were seized from the address and a 54-year-old woman was spoken to at the address.

"She will attend a police station at a later date to be questioned in relation to the incident."

An Alsager Police spokesperson stated: "This morning we seized two cannabis plants from an address in Alsager after neighbours reported a strong smell of cannabis.

"If you notice anything suspicious anywhere around the town please let us know via 101 or 999 in an emergency."
