Police appealing for information after man steals meat from Alsager supermarket

Police are appealing for information which would help trace a man who stole a quantity of meat from a supermarket in Alsager.

At 8.30pm on Monday (5 October) police were informed of reports of shoplifting at Sainsburys Local, on Crewe Road, Alsager.

The caller reported that at 7.38pm an unknown man had entered the store and stole a quantity of meat.

The man is described as of slim build, he was wearing a maroon woolly bobble hat, a black, red t-shirt and a black and white mask. He was also carrying a Sports Direct carrier bag.

Anyone with any information in relation to the incident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 821046.
