By Tom Avery 14th Mar 2021

Licensing applications from two popular businesses in Alsager town centre have been submitted to Cheshire East.

The Bar, on Sandbach Road South, Alsager, has applied for a full variation to provide the supply of alcohol on:

- Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 11pm.

- Friday to Saturday from 12pm to 12am.

- Sunday from 12pm to 11pm.

Caster's, on Lawton Road, Alsager, has submitted a minor variation application.

Their minor variation seeks to:

- Alter the plan of the premises.

- Apply for recorded music to be played outside the premises at a background level.

- Remove the condition 'Music will be played inside but the doors and windows will be closed'.

- Alter the opening hours on Sunday from 10am to 9pm (all licensable activities hours to remain the same).

Residents who wish to comment on the applications can submit their views via post to the below address on or before the following date: 5 April for The Bar's plans and 19th March for Caster's' proposals.
