Alsager School was pleased to support a recent mass training programme for volunteer vaccinators being held at Staffordshire University.

St John's Ambulance have been running training sessions for volunteer vaccinators and as part of this, every candidate must complete CPR training.

Local organisations were approached to loan CPR manikins for SJA trainers to use on the course.

The school recently acquired twelve new Resusci Anne manikins with help from the Alsager School Parents in Partnership and the school was pleased to make these available to help with the vaccinator training.

Over 100 volunteer vaccinators were trained in life-saving CPR and the SJA West Midlands training co-ordinator Wendy Bown was very grateful for Alsager School's support.
