It's a month until Alsager's charity bonfire and firework display but make sure you get in early - as tickets are selling fast!

The annual event, organised by Alsager Round Table, takes place every year at The Plough Inn in Crewe Road and this year the date is November 2nd.

Set to be as spectacular as ever, the fairground opens at 4.30 pm, the bonfire is lit at 5 pm and the fireworks start at 6.30 pm.

Proceeds from the event, which costs £7 for adults, children under 16 £5, a family (two adults and two children) £21, with under two-year-olds going free, will go to local charities and the Alsager community.

Darren Antrobus, head of press and social media for Alsager Round Table said: "The event raises money for the local charity and local community. There will be fairground for rides for the children , food stalls and the bonfire will be lit before the huge firework display."

People are being advised where possible to walk to the event and bring appropriate footwear and clothing.

Tickets can be bought on-line here
