Friday, October 4th
Get your weekend off to a great start with some live music!
The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has Jon Stevens 8.30 pm. The local acoustic singer songwriter will bring his unique take on everything from current chart hits to timeless classic.
Are you a Motown fan? Motown fans are being invited to a night of soulful gems as the 'Soul Train' steams into Alsager at Alsager Civic.

Earlier in the day, there's a chance visit Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road. They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books. It's open Friday 10 am–2 pm and Saturdays 10 am–2 pm.
Saturday, October 5th
It's Rode Hall's monthly farmers market at Scholar Green from 9 am until 1.30 pm, packed with seasonal produce including homemade artisan pies, fresh vegetables, hand crafted cheese and hand picked flowers from the kitchen garden.
There will also be ideas for Christmas gifts in the craft barn including jewellery, leather wear and ceramics. The Work Shy Fops will also be playing live.
Sunday, October 6th
Love nature? Alsager Urban Wildlife initiative has its monthly nature walk starting from The Plough Inn car park. A gentle walk for anyone with an inquisitive mind and love of nature.
This month they explore the field margins around Hall farm and the Old Mill. There should be the last of the late summer flowers and insects, and gathering of swallows and house martins ready for migration. Meet at 3 pm to go on the walk.
