A cake business which used to be based in Alsager is about to celebrate its first month of being in new premises.

Georgia Faye Bakes opened its doors at Glebe Farm in Peel Lane, Astbury on the outskirts of Congleton on June 9th after previously being based in Alsager.

And the avid cake maker says business is booming at the new premises which has seen her busiest month to date not only for weddings but other parts of the business.

"This year has already given me so much to my little business and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store," Georgia said on Social Media.

"I'm so grateful for everything. The orders, likes, comments and shares as it helps get me noticed."

Georgia said it had always been her dream to open her own shop, saying previously: "I'm so excited but so nervous for this.

"This was my main goal. I hoped one day I would get a shop but didn't know if I would."

The shop is open Wednesday – Saturday and then the last Sunday of the month.

"With the summer holidays fast approaching, my daily treat fridge will be packed full of goodies for you and your little ones to takeaway and enjoy."
