Strictly fabulous Cheshire legend, Mark Farrugia, is putting a new spin on his growing business by launching his own dance wear.

The amazing teacher, who appeared on Claudia Winkleman's radio show and the local BBC News following Nub News coverage, here.has launched a selection of dance T-shirts featuring his logo.

And he is planning to launch hoodies in the future and possibly leggings so his students feel fully connected and have more sparkle as they dance at his classes.

The former security van driver and professional dancer is known for his fancy footwork after launching "Strictly Latin Dance Fit/Fit steps" classes all over the county – including at Alsager Civic Hall and Sandbach Cricket Club.

Mark was prompted by his love of the popular dance programme, Strictly Come Dancing, to launch his packed out classes.

And now his students, who range from age 14 to 75, can enjoy some more "Strictly" sparkle with one of his T-shirts which feature the glitter ball synonymous with the top TV show.

Anne Bridgett (63), from Leighton in Crewe who attends Mark's Thursday classes in Sandbach says the T-shirts are great.

"They'll help us feel more connected. It's a great idea for such fabulous classes."

Newly retired Glynis Roberts (66) from Wheelock in Sandbach is looking forward to wearing hers.

She said: "It's such a great class and I love coming. The T-shirts are fabulous!"

Mark's classes have grown and grown since they were featured across the Cheshire and Staffordshire Nub News sites.

He said: "My students kept asking for T-shirts so I had some samples made.

"They're now asking for sleeveless ones and I might look at hoodies and leggings too."

Mark says such is the popularity of his classes he has a waiting list for some and is poised to open a new one in Middlewich in March.
