Care company, Right at Home South Cheshire, is celebrating a major milestone this year.

The business will mark the occasion with a revamp of its branding, website, and will host a celebration evening for all staff and clients on 10 July.

Ten years after launching Right at Home South Cheshire, owner Ben Selby is confident his company will continue to grow and deliver outstanding care for many years to come.

The company is now the largest local provider of private home care in the area and has so far provided over 500,000 hours of care - with an ambitious target to reach one million hours of provision within the next five years.

The care business has grown from strength to strength, moving to larger office locations around three times to its current base to cope with growing demand and to house a growing back office team.

Now, Right at Home South Cheshire is marking its celebratory year with a new logo and strapline - 'Care for a Life you Love'.

"The service has grown and will continue to do so," said Ben Selby, managing director. "There's no slowing down and the one thing we will continue to do is to provide the highest standard of care to our clients."

The model of care hasn't changed since Ben first launched the business back in 2016, It's still based on the exact level of care you would want for a loved one.

Years ago, Ben's beloved grandfather, Albert, developed Alzheimer's and vascular dementia.

"We didn't know much about dementia then," he said. "My grandfather was a proud man who had been Mayor of Kendal and had run a successful business.

"He kept forgetting things and he and my grandmother had moved to a bungalow to retire.

"We called in a care company to look after him at home but we got frustrated with poor service and eventually, sadly he went into a care home.

"He wanted to stay at home, as a lot of people do, but at the time there was very little in terms of high quality care that would meet his needs. That's what motivated me to launch Right at Home in the local area."

Fast-forward to today, and Right at Home South Cheshire and Mid Cheshire, of which Ben is managing director, is exactly the care model he wanted for his own grandfather.

"It's important that people see where we are and know they are always welcome to pop in and have a chat."

Right at Home South Cheshire provides daily care as well as live-in care which, it says it growing, and complex care which may require more complex care from specially trained Care Professionals.

The business was also recently recognised as a 5-Star Employer in the 2026 Work Buzz Awards – a prestigious achievement based entirely on direct feedback from their team and clientele.

"The service provided by Right at Home is first-class. The team visit my mother twice a day, providing assistance with hygiene, medication and preparing meals," said one family.
