Thursday, February 20th

Alsager Golf and Country Club's Jazz Club has its Parisian 'Hot Club' style jazz with Julian Gregory, Matthew Compton and Paul Hartley.

Meanwhile at nearby Kidsgrove Cricket Club the February festival Beerr Festive runs from Thursday (20th February) until Sunday.

Friday, February 21st

Rode Hall's annual snowdrop walks are on. Snowdrops signal the start of warmer days ahead.

Every year, Rode Hall, the stunning historic house at Scholar Green, throws its gates open at the beginning of February for visitors to see the snowdrops. Link to booking here

Fancy a book to chill over the weekend? Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm. Plenty of books to buy, many of them brand new!

In the evening, Bod Alsager has its weekly live music Friday night slot with Henry Myles where love is in the air in their month of 'love'. Don't miss out!

Saturday, February 22nd

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm while The Mere Inn ins Crewe Road has a fntastic event to dust off the February blues!

Blues, Bourbon and baby-back ribs - what more could you want? Their Blues extravaganza start at 2 pm and goes on until 11.30 pm with free entry.

It's a day of foot-stomping Blues from some of the best local talent including Pistol Pete Wearn, Olly Parry and Delta Aces and Amen Brother

Bourbon & Ribs will be there with a dedicated Bourbon bar – neat, on the rocks, or mixed into devilish cocktails and Kansas City glazed baby-back ribs, cooked low and slow.
