Friday, February 14th

It's Valentine's Day and love is in the air everywhere! Rode Hall's annual Snowdrop Walks have begun. Rode Hall has around 70 varieties. Snowdrops signal the start of warmer days ahead - why not have a romantic walk?

Every year, Rode Hall, the stunning historic house at Scholar Green, throws its gates open at the beginning of February for visitors to see the snowdrops. Link to booking here

Fancy a book to chill over the weekend? Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm. Plenty of books to buy, many of them brand new!

In the evening, Bod Alsager has its weekly live music Friday night slot with Paddy Johnson at 7 pm where love is in the air in their month of 'love'. Don't miss out!

The Linley Tavern has Bootleg Weller appearing. Not to be missed!

Are you a fan of the 1960s and 1970s or maybe you went to the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970? Making a very welcome return to the stage at the Thirteen Club in Cedar Avenue is Andy Lloyd and another of his fantastic 60's and 70's rock Nights. Tickets are £8.00 for members and £10.00 for non-members.

Saturday, February 15th

Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road is open 10 am – 2 pm while fire will be roaring and the drinks flowing at The Mere Inn.

Sunday, February 16th

Hip Hops bar in Crewe Road has an interesting event - an art workshop. Led by Felicity at Fledgling Education youngsters and adults can try their hand at creating different art pieces using sustainable materials inspired by the Northern Lights. The cost is £8.50 per child and under 2s and adults join in for free!
