It's a Boxing Day tradition to go to a football match! Alsager Town aka The Bullets are playing Cammell Laird 1907 at home with a 3 pm kick-off.

Friday, December 27th

Fancy some chilled music after all the chaos of Christmas Day and Boxing Day?

Fancy some live music? Liam Hulmes is playing at Bod Alsager from 7.30 pm.

At The Linley Tavern, it's the annual Terry Taylor charity darts match at 3 pm. A great event for a great cause - all money raised will go to cancer sufferers.

Sunday, December 29th

Fancy some chilled music? The Mere Inn has The Duo Brothers live from 6 pm until 8 pm - a great night guaranteed to be had and not too late!

Tuesday, December 31st

New Year's Eve can be a stressful time if you're the one left to organise, but Alsager Civic has the solution – a family party complete with buffet platters! 

And Warrington DJ will be spinning the tunes as well as Photo Booth Cheshire to take your fun party photos! 

The Civic's New Year's Eve Family party is bigger and better than ever before and starts at 7 pm. Tickets are £25 for adults and £17 for children with a family ticket costing £75 making it excellent value.

Meanwhile at The Mere Inn, New Years Eve fun is on from 2pm – 9 pm. No big plans? We're all about early doors on NYE, enjoy a lazy afternoon in front of the fire with a live acoustic set from Grace & Lewis from 6 – 8 pm. Last orders are 9 pm.

Wednesday, January 1st

New Years Day 12pm - 6pm at The Mere Inn. Nothing blows out the cobwebs better than a brisk New Year's day walk and if there's a better way to finish a walk than in the pub, we're yet to find it!

The fire will be roaring at The Mere Inn and the mulled wine simmering and the beer flowing.
