Thursday, 27 August

The Linley Tavern has its weekly quiz night at 8pm. £1 to play!

The Lawton Arms in Church Lawton has its Thursday poker night from 8 pm until 11 pm. All welcome!

Alsager Jazz Club is at the Thirteen club with its weekly session. This week's will feature Wendy Kirkland (piano/vocals) and Pat Sprakes (guitar) for a great evening of live jazz. Wendy's acclaimed albums Piano Divas and The Music's On Me have had national airplay, and Pat has performed with top names including Tony Kofi and Darius Brubeck.

The club takes place from 8 pm until 10 pm and costs £10 on the door.

Friday, 28 August

Making her debut at The Thirteen Club Jo Farrow will be performing her fantastic "double header" show featuring the songs and music of both Adele and Stevie Nicks, the lead singer of Fleetwood Mac. Tickets £8 members, £10 guests.

The Golf Club, Linley has a Scooter Festival from 12 pm with a BBQ and entertainment.

The Lawton Arms at Church Lawton has has a charity fundraiser for Lara at 3 - 4.30 pm.
